I will NEVER be the person who pretends to have to all together (unless you’re a prospective client – then I’m perfect). But I want to have it at least 80% together or pretend to.
For years I have been searching to find the right tools to achieve the organization levels I have imagined for myself and seen from some of my favourite entrepreneurs.
I bought a 2023-2024 Daily Planner Duo, and here’s why.
I took up digital planning recently but cannot plan anything digitally. I cannot plan my day on a tablet. I know some people do it, and their lives look so organized, and I wish I could be the same, but it doesn’t have the same magic for me.
NOTHING BEATS A PHYSICAL BOOK. No digital medium compares to writing on a piece of paper, flipping a page or that new book smell. That is a hill that I am willing to die on and no one can change my mind. So physical planning has always been my go to and it worked for a while until I became inconsistent with it or realized the page layouts I was using were not up to par for what I needed.
This led me to think about college-aged me who used to live for those Back to School Hauls that were the most popular genre on Youtube. I had playlists for each year and I would always try to get similar supplies – yes, I admit to being easily influenced. Every YouTuber had a planner, usually a cute Lily Pulitzer Planner, or for the more serious girls, they always had an Erin Condren Planner.
So as you can imagine, I have been OBSESSED with Erin Condren Planners and have always wanted to buy one, but life happened. Two weeks ago, I was in a full-on anxiety fest about being disorganized and how it was ruining my life and productivity. Then I remembered that I wanted to buy the planner but of course, I missed the January Deadline, and it looked like I was about to miss the June deadline. So cue an even deeper anxiety fest that included obsessively tracking the package.
I can officially announce that I have finally got my hands on these beauties, and I am so excited to start using them for Q3 & Q4 of 2023. With how many things I’ll be juggling in the next few months with launches, redirection of businesses and new service offerings, I want to be able to effectively plan my day and do it in a way that makes me happy.
I unboxed them today and realized I still need my Cultivate What Matters PowerSheets to map out my annual, quarterly and monthly goals but for daily planning, I know the Erin Condren Planners will be perfect!
You can look for an update in 30 days to see if I would still recommend them and how using it has improved productivity and consistency.
